Large Brush Fire Fought by Hamburg Firefighters | News

Hamburg, N.Y. - Firefighters from Lakeshore and Hamburg were busy overnight fighting a large brush fire between Creekview Drive and Interstate 90.

Hamburg Police tell us that the fire was situated inside a wooded area approximately a half-mile in size.

No residential homes were threatened and no one was hurt.

It took nearly four hours to bring the fire under control.  A cause has not been released.
